Cycling over the Burrard Bridge, Downtown and Arbutus Greenway

The route takes us through Kerrisdale onto the Arbutus Greenway, then onto Cypress St which is very bike friendly route to directly connect to the Burrard Bridge, then down over the north side seawall of False Creek, around Science World then back up on Ontario St Bikeway.

Cycling in this manner took about 1hr15 mins at 21km distance.  There was no danger to safety at all, as all of the riding took place on residential streets, not on major arteries.  For major arteries roadways, there are separated bike lane infrastructures to prevent cyclists, cars, and pedestrians conflicts.  The City of Vancouver does a great job in investing separated bike lanes infrastructure and making the city a bike friendly city, giving better and safer transportation alternatives for residents to get around.
