Doors Open Vancouver 2015 – Animal Shelter and National Works Yard

Today we went to the Doors Open Vancouver event on October 3 2015 to visit the Animal Shelter and National Works Yard.  The Animal Shelter houses all kinds of animals from dogs to rabbits who are in need of a new home, and provides temporary care until a new owner is found.  The National Works Yard is the central point of city engineering operations that creates street signs, manages traffic light systems and maintains traffic light equipments, parking meters, etc.
