The birds of Terra Nova Regional Park
On New Years Eve 2014, I went to Terra Nova Regional Park in Richmond, BC to photograph the Blue Heron, Snow Geese and a variety of small birds or finches. The smaller birds are harder to photograph because they constantly move around and have to find where most of them congregate. Luckily I was able to find an area or bushes/trees where some birds feed on the berries on the trees.
Species of birds found includes:
- Trumpeter Swan
- Great blue heron
- Spotted Towhee
- Purple Finch (female)
- American Robin
- Golden-Crowned Sparrows
A 100-400mm Canon L lens was used for this.

An 8X10 picture frame of the wildlife species can also be purchased.
