Little stop sign for bicycles confusing

On Fraser Street and 37th Street Bicycle Route in Vancouver, at the traffic light, there is a little stop sign for bicycles.  This little stop sign should orient the other way facing the west, because a driver can get confused to see the stop sign facing the driver’s way, while at the same time there is a pedestrian controlled signal.  Hopefully the City of Vancouver engineering department will see this!
